Merlin offer a Ride Access Pass to guests who may find it difficult or cannot stand for long periods of time either due to a physical disability or a learning/emotional impairment. You must pre book to use the Ride Access Pass system before every visit. We recommend booking as far in advance as possible to save from disappointment.
Ride Access is booked online and in order to be eligible you will require either an Access Card or a FREE Merlin Digital Access Pass (DAP) that ONLY works with Merlin Entertainment Parks.
Step 1: Sign up and purchase an Access Card - Purpl members can get 10% off with our Access Card discount (£15 for three years) or apply for the Free Merlin Digital Access Pass
Step 2: Once your application is approved, you will be sent an Access Card, you will then need to link this to a Merlin Ride Access Pass.
Step 3: Once you have linked your Access Card, you will receive a digital version of your Ride Access Pass which you can use to collect your Ride Access Pass card. Upon your first visit to Thorpe Park, you can collect your physical Ride Access Pass ID, this is valid for 3 years.
Step 4: Pre-book your visit. You will need to pre-book your Ride Access Pass online before your visit.
Please note that the Merlin Ride Access Pass pre-book does not include admission into the attraction. You will still need to book your day tickets or Merlin Annual Pass pre-book to show at entry.

Thorpe Park recognise that every guest is individual, therefore they want to ensure each experience is unique. For this reason they want to take the time to understand guests needs and provide a personalised Accessibility Plan for their visit. This will give you all the information you need to prepare your day out so you can enjoy the day to the fullest.
You will need to complete the online accessibility form. Please include as much information as you can or are comfortable disclosing in order for Thorpe Park to give you all the help you need for your visit. Their Accessibility Experience Team will reach out to you through your preferred method of contact within 7 days of submitting the form. They will be able to share information on ride restrictions, sensory needs, dietary requirements, carer tickets, wheelchair/ ear defender hire, step-free access and all things Accessibility related.
Please note our Accessibility Experience Team will not be able to assist with any Ride Access Pass applications or pre-booking.
Disabled guests visiting Thorpe Park are entitled to a free carer ticket. You can reserve an entry space for your carer here. Please bring valid documentation with you on your visit in order to collect your tickets from the Island Ticket Centre.
Full information on valid types of documentation can be found on their help centre article.
