Pre-Book Your Merlin Ride Access Pass for Chessington World of Adventures
Merlin offer a Ride Access Pass to guests who may find it difficult or cannot stand for long periods of time either due to a physical disability or a learning/emotional impairment. You must pre book to use the Ride Access Pass system before every visit and at least 7 days before your visit toChessington World of Adventures. We recommend booking as far in advance as possible to save from disappointment.
Ride Access is booked online and in order to be eligible you will require either an Access Card or a FREE Merlin Digital Access Pass (DAP) that ONLY works with Merlin Entertainment Parks.
Step 1: Sign up and purchase an Access Card - Purpl members can get 10% off with our Access Card discount (£15 for three years) or apply for the Free Merlin Digital Access Pass
Step 2: Once your application is approved, you will be sent an Access Card, you will then need to link this to a Merlin Ride Access Pass.
Step 3: Once you have linked your Access Card, you will receive a digital version of your Ride Access Pass which you can use to collect your Ride Access Pass card. Upon your first visit to Chessington World of Adventures, you can collect your physical Ride Access Pass ID, this is valid for 3 years.
Step 4: Pre-book your visit. You will need to pre-book your Ride Access Pass online before your visit.
Please note that the Merlin Ride Access Pass pre-book does not include admission into the attraction. You will still need to book your day tickets or Merlin Annual Pass pre-book to show at entry.

Carer Tickets with Chessington World of Adventures
Guests who have the following documentation are entitled to one free carer* ticket, however, the guest with the disability and any further members of their party will pay full price.
Please show the relevant paperwork as well as suitable photo ID of the named recipient at the ticket office when you buy or collect your ticket/s. For proof of disability, please bring any ONE of the following forms of documentation:
- Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book.
- Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award
- Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) Disability Students’ Allowance (DSA), or DID card (UK Disabled ID card).
- A valid Blue Badge
- In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI).
- Credibility’s Access Card with the carer/companion symbol
*A carer must be over 14 years of age and understand the ticket-holding guest’s condition, assisting them during their visit.
Disabled guests who have a specific need for a second helper/carer can request another free ticket, but will need to show that they have a need for a second carer by providing a registered GP or NHS letter or direct email sent in a secure, non- editable format notifying the recipient requires additional carer support.
Please note carer tickets cannot be pre-booked as they must be collected in person when presenting the above documentation.

Each ride and attraction has its own set of restrictions, which must be adhered to at all times, some of which are due to ride restraints, forces or sometimes due to additional requirements if the ride has stopped and guests are required to exit before reaching the station.
