Membership, renewals and cancellations

English Heritage memberships can be managed through the Members' Area, where you can update your details, renew your membership and request replacement membership cards.

If you pay by Direct Debit, your membership renews automatically each year. English Heritage normally contacts members around one month before renewal to let you know your next payment date.

If you join online or by telephone, you have a 14-day cooling off period. If you've visited a paying English Heritage site during that time, the appropriate admission charge may be deducted from any refund. Memberships purchased at English Heritage properties, redeemed from gift memberships or purchased through third parties are not eligible for this refund.
