If Purpl emails aren't reaching you, they're almost always in a spam, junk or promotions folder, or being filtered before they arrive. Add our addresses to your safe senders list, check the folders below, and make sure the email address on your account is the one you actually use.
Which addresses do we email you from?
Purpl emails come from more than one address, depending on what they're about. Add all of these to your contacts or safe senders list:
- [email protected] - account emails such as sign-in codes, verification results and payment confirmations.
- [email protected] - marketing emails, new offers, new features, article links, competition and prize draw winner notifications, grant fund recipient notifications and more.
- [email protected] - emails from our customer support team.
Start with these three checks
- Check your spam, junk and promotions folders. Search your whole mailbox for Purpl rather than scrolling - it searches every folder at once.
- Check the email address on your Purpl account. If you signed up with an old or mistyped address, our emails are going there. See below for how to check and change it.
- Check your marketing preferences in the profile section. If you've unsubscribed at some point, you'll still get essential account emails but not offers or newsletters.
Add us to your safe senders
This is the step that actually fixes it for most people. Marking an email as "not spam" trains your provider, but adding the address to your contacts is more reliable.
Gmail
- Open any email from us - check the Spam or Promotions tab if there isn't one in your inbox.
- If it's in Spam, select Report not spam.
- Hover over the sender's name and select Add to contacts.
- To stop offers landing under Promotions, drag one of our emails into your Primary tab and choose Yes when asked to do this for future emails.
Outlook and Hotmail
- Go to Settings > Mail > Junk email.
- Under Safe senders and domains, select Add.
- Enter purpldiscounts.com and email.purpldiscounts.com, then Save.
- If one of our emails is already in Junk Email, open it and select Not junk.
Apple Mail / iCloud
- Open an email from us and tap the sender's name at the top.
- Select Add to Contacts (or Add to VIP to make sure it's never hidden).
- If it was in Junk, tap the flag icon and choose Move to Inbox and Not Junk.
Yahoo Mail
- Go to Settings > More Settings > Filters.
- Add a filter for the sender containing purpldiscounts.com and set it to deliver to Inbox.
Please don't email our marketing email address
The email marketing address [email protected] is a not a valid email account so it is not monitored. If you reply to a marketing email it will go to our support team [email protected]
Still nothing?
If you've done all of the above and still aren't receiving anything, contact us through the support form and tell us the email address on your account and roughly when you last received something from us. Keep an eye on your junk folder for our reply - that's often where it lands while the problem is still being sorted.
