Looking for a verified Sensory Direct disability discount? Purpl members can get 10% off Sensory Direct. We’ve partnered directly with Sensory Direct to help disabled people, people with long term health conditions, and parents and carers save on weighted blankets, sensory toys, ear defenders, chews, fidgets, communication aids and other sensory equipment. Sensory Direct has supplied sensory products for around 20 years and stocks products for children and adults, as well as schools, NHS services and other organisations. Sensory Direct
Sensory Direct sells a broad range of sensory products, including weighted blankets and lap pads, sensory clothing, chews, ear defenders, fidget toys, communication aids, sensory lighting, seating and sensory-room equipment.
Some products have specific sizing, weight or hygiene considerations, so check the individual product information carefully. Weighted products in particular come in different weights and sizes, while products such as chews and ear defenders have stricter return rules once opened.
Sensory needs can be very individual. Some people find deep pressure helpful, others want to reduce overwhelming noise, while fidgets, chews or visual aids may help with concentration, communication or sensory regulation.
Sensory Direct brings many of these products together in one place, which can make it easier to compare options for home, school or everyday use. The range includes products aimed at both children and adults rather than sensory support being limited to younger customers.
Weighted products: Sensory Direct sells weighted blankets, lap pads, shoulder wraps and weighted clothing in different sizes and weights. Its weighted blankets are handmade in Worcester and come with a Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee.
Ear defenders: Adjustable ear defenders and ear plugs are available for people who are sensitive to loud or sudden sounds. Sensory Direct’s standard ear defenders are adjustable, lightweight and designed to fit from around 12 months to adult.
Fidgets and sensory toys: The range includes fidget toys, sensory packs, tactile products and other resources for different types of sensory input.
Communication aids: Sensory Direct also sells visual and non-verbal communication resources.

Most unused Sensory Direct products can be returned within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange. Sale products have a shorter 14-day return period. Products must normally be unused and returned in their original packaging with the original documentation.
Customers normally pay the return postage unless the item is faulty or has been sent in error.
Some products cannot be returned once their packaging has been opened for hygiene reasons, including sensory chews, bangles, putty, sand, PlayFoam, ear defenders and ear plugs. Custom-made products are also non-refundable.
Opened and used weighted blankets have separate conditions and may have a £40 return fee, while weighted blankets, lap pads and shoulder wraps come with a Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee.
Sensory equipment can become another regular or unexpected cost for disabled people and families, especially when different products need to be tried to find what works best.
By partnering with Purpl, Sensory Direct gives disabled people, people with long term health conditions, and parents and carers 10% off, helping make specialist sensory products more affordable.
