We’re delighted to announce that Family Fund has been chosen as Purpl’s Charity of the Quarter for October to December 2025.
As the UK’s leading charity supporting low-income families raising a disabled or seriously ill child, Family Fund plays an essential role in improving daily life. Their mission is not only to provide practical grants but also to deliver wider support services that truly change lives.
Why Family Fund Matters
For families on the lowest incomes, raising a disabled or seriously ill child can be overwhelming. In many cases, parents are juggling round-the-clock care, emotional pressures, and financial struggles all at once. As a result, essentials such as beds, clothing, appliances, digital devices, or sensory toys can feel out of reach.
This is precisely where Family Fund makes a difference. By stepping in with practical support, they help ease the pressure families face. Specifically, Family Fund helps by:
- Providing grants for essentials such as beds, appliances, and clothing.
- Supplying digital devices and sensory toys to support learning and development.
- Offering guidance on money, benefits, and wellbeing to reduce stress.
- Running digital skills workshops to empower families for the future.
Most importantly, they listen to families and use their feedback to shape the services and policies that matter, ensuring every family’s voice influences real change.
Voices from the Partnership
I am delighted that our members have chosen Family Fund to be Purpl’s Charity Partner for October to December 2025. Family Fund provide vital support and essential help for families raising disabled and seriously ill children, and we are proud to stand alongside them in making a difference.
