Looking for a verified KIDS Holiday Homes disability discount? Purpl members can save an exclusive 15% on stays of two nights or more at any KIDS Holiday Home, throughout the year. We've partnered with KIDS to help disabled people, people with long term health conditions, and parents and carers enjoy more affordable family holidays. KIDS is a UK disability charity supporting disabled children, young people and their families. Its holiday homes in North Yorkshire and the Cotswolds offer families a chance to enjoy a seaside break or a relaxing countryside escape, with accessible accommodation and family-friendly facilities. The Purpl offer also includes a free entertainment pass and access to on-site amenities, with facilities and availability varying between locations.
KIDS publishes its holiday accommodation as available to families supported by its services. If you're unsure whether you can book, contact the KIDS holiday homes team before paying.
Kids holiday homes at Cayton Bay offer a welcoming, neurodiverse-friendly base for families with special educational needs and disabilities.
With accessible features, sensory-friendly touches and a choice of family activities on site, there’s something for everyone - from swimming and entertainment to exploring the Yorkshire coast. Their holiday homes provide a familiar space to return to after a day of adventure, with thoughtful features designed with families in mind.
KIDS offers two holiday destinations, giving families a choice between the Yorkshire coast and the Cotswolds countryside.
Located at Cayton Bay Holiday Park near Scarborough, KIDS has two holiday homes:
Both homes include sensory toys, projectors, games and children's bikes. They're also conveniently located near the park's entertainment facilities.
Families can enjoy the indoor swimming pool, play areas, showbar and other activities. Entertainment passes are included, providing access to the entertainment complex and discounts on selected paid activities.
Some facilities are seasonal, with the entertainment complex closed from 2 January to 14 February.

KIDS Holiday Homes offers affordable family accommodation, with additional savings available through Purpl.
For example, a two-night Cotswolds stay at the published low-season price of £60 per night would normally cost £120. With the exclusive Purpl discount, the accommodation cost would be £102, saving £18.
Actual savings depend on the holiday home, dates and accommodation price.
Finding somewhere suitable for a family holiday isn't always straightforward when a child or family member has additional needs. Accessible bathrooms, suitable sleeping arrangements, enough space for mobility equipment and opportunities for quieter activities can make a significant difference.
KIDS Holiday Homes has been developed around the needs of families with disabled children and young people, rather than simply offering standard holiday accommodation.
At Cayton Bay, the ABI Derwent provides wheelchair-accessible accommodation, while both homes include sensory resources and equipment for family activities. The Cotswolds holiday home has step-free access, an accessible wet room and spacious accommodation.
Having self-catering facilities also gives families more flexibility around mealtimes, routines and dietary preferences.
The exclusive Purpl discount helps reduce accommodation costs, giving families more of their holiday budget to spend on activities and time together.
Accessibility varies between the properties, so it's important to choose the accommodation that meets your family's requirements.

The Victory Willow isn't advertised as fully wheelchair accessible, unlike the ABI Derwent and Cotswolds properties.

Families with disabled children can face additional costs when planning a holiday, particularly when suitable accommodation and accessible facilities are limited.
KIDS shares Purpl's commitment to improving opportunities for disabled people and their families.
By partnering with Purpl, KIDS gives eligible members an exclusive saving on its family holiday accommodation, helping reduce some of the financial barriers to enjoying a break together.
