Our Story

Purpl was founded by Georgina Colman, who lives with MS and ADHD and understands first-hand the extra costs of disability. Driven by lived experience and a passion for equality, she created a platform that challenges unfairness in the market and brings together exclusive shopping, travel, mobility, and lifestyle discounts for disabled people across the UK. Since launching, Purpl has grown into a verified community of nearly 80,000 members who are saving money every day, proving the power of the Purple Pound and showing brands the value of inclusion.

What We Do

We work hard to put the community first. Every partnership we build and every discount we secure is designed to make a real difference. From our exclusive Morrisons partnership, helping members save every week on essentials, to best-in-market offers from leading UK brands, we ensure our community can access savings that ease financial pressures and improve daily life. Georgina’s TikTok videos share practical ways for the disabled community to save money beyond our discounts, with some reaching over 1 million views. Her goal is to make sure everyone knows about the support and savings available to them. To support this further, we created Purpl Life — a space full of information and resources to help our community save more and live better.

Why It Matters

Disabled people in the UK face higher living costs, reduced opportunities, and barriers that shouldn’t exist. Purpl is here to change that by: Offering exclusive discounts that save members money every week. Showing brands the loyalty and power of the disabled community. Raising awareness about the extra costs of disability through media and social campaigns. Building a trusted space shaped by the lived experiences of disabled people themselves.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help offset the cost of living with a disability and to ensure that our community can save money on the things that matter most.

Purpl exists to put disabled people first — by securing best-in-market discounts, building inclusive partnerships with leading brands, and showing the value of the Purple Pound. Alongside this, we give back by funding disabled charities and, in the future, we aim to launch a Foundation to provide grants directly to people in our community, offering support where it’s needed most and truly making a difference.
