How to ensure your savings track

Your savings help power something bigger. When you shop through Purpl, brands invest back into our community and that helps grow our Purpl Community Grant Fund and provide support to those who need it.

Allowing Purpl to track your sales, also means your savings will be recorded in the savings calculator and will make you eligible to enter our monthly prize draw (see terms). It also helps ensure Purpl gets paid correctly from the brands that you have purchased from, meaning we can grow Purpl and help more people.

To help keep everything working as it should please follow these guidelines when shopping through Purpl.

1. Avoid brand apps
There is no tracking in brand apps so always use their websites to shop.

2. Supermarket advice: You can still shop in the app for brands like Morrisons, but when it comes to using your discount, head to the brand website via Purpl, log in, and apply the code and then checkout. You can add the code any time before your cut off.

3. Accept marketing cookies on the brand website
If cookies aren’t accepted, the tracking breaks and we don’t get credited for your order.

4. Always go directly from Purpl to brand website
If you visit other sites for codes or look at Google etc.., it can override our tracking (it’s a “last click” system), meaning your saving won’t be tracked.

5. Don’t use cash-back sites with our offers – They won’t pay us if you try getting cash-back and your savings won’t get tracked.

6. Always use the same device from start to finish
Switching devices can break the tracking completely.

7. Avoid VPNs and private browsers (e.g. Safari)
These block tracking, so your order won’t be recorded on our side. Chrome is available on all devices and allows tracking but worth checking your settings to ensure there is nothing blocking cookies.

Thank you for being part of this – it really does make a difference.
